Olivier is passionate about China where he has been living since 2009 and working with since 2005.
He may look nice at first sight but don’t get fooled: his result-oriented attitude makes him hard to work with.
With a background in one of the biggest European Private Equity Funds (SGAM-AMUNDI) and with a track record of a dozen of M&A and Fund-Raising transactions, his experience will be valuable to select, structure and negotiate strategic partnerships in China.
As former President and CEO of EESYO, a China-based technology company sold to OCTAV in 2015, he also has experience in growing technology companies in China.
Olivier has a MSc. In Mathematics from Centrale Lyon (France), a certificate in Chinese history from Harvard university and an Executive MBA from CEIBS.

Yi ZHENG, Partner
Mr. Zheng has devoted his career to cooperation between Europe and China in the field of medical innovation, academic exchanges and humanities.
Mr. Zheng has introduced to a hundred of Chinese medical institutions many key healthcare technologies from Europe such as:
- Einsbee® plasma air disinfection equipment which has now become the no.1 equipment in Chinese market share,
- EOS® ultra-low-radiation 3D imaging system now distributed by FOSUN.
Mr. Zheng is the founder of the Sino-French Hematology Summit Forum presided by Former Minister of Health of China, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, President of the Chinese Red Cross Society and President of the Chinese Medical Association Mr. Chen Yu.
Mr. Zheng is also the founder of the International Orthopedics Symposium presided by the Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association, Prof. Tian Wei.

Ari has 17 years global life sciences experience, including 12 years in China.
As a partner in McKinsey’s Asia Healthcare Practice in Shanghai, he worked with MNC healthcare manufacturers to build their China/Asia businesses for growth and scale.
He has spoken about China opportunities for MedTech players in leading European MedTech conferences, such as the Innovation Summit and Bohemian Summit. Ari is also an advisor to MedTech companies in US and Europe.

Dr. Lucy ZHANG, Project Leader
Lucy began her career as an ENT physician in the Beijing Feng Tai hospital in the late 90s.
She then moved to industry and spent the last 20 years working for Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, MSD and TSKF where she hold senior positions in Marketing, Physicians Engagement and Product Management.
At MAVIE, she brings her 24 years of experience in the Chinese medical device industry and Chinese hospitals.
She has a Clinical Medicine degree from Nanjing South East University.

Stephen DOYLE, Venture Partner, Biotech
Stephen brings 20+ years of Pharmaceutical experience, mostly in China. When number 2 at Boehringer Ingelheim China, he was leading sales and marketing in excess of 300 FTE and managing P&L up to Eur 140 M.
End of 2017 he joined Aslan Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage oncology-focused biotech company targeting diseases which are both highly prevalent in China and orphan indications in the West. He brought Aslan on NASDAQ in 2018.
He is a teacher at the China Medical Affairs Development Program. He also sits at the Board of the Chinese CEO Round Table on Cancer.
He has a MSc. In Clinical Pharmacy from Derby University (UK).

Feng MO, Venture Partner, M&A
Fred has more than 15 years of experience in helping large Chinese corporations with their strategic investments.
He is expert in external growth strategy, target screening, negotiation and post-merger integrations. He has an in-depth understanding of the strategic needs of local Chinese buyers and is experienced in helping them address synergies through strategic transactions.
He has been focusing on healthcare and industry 4.0 serving clients such as Trauson, HCD, Meheco, SinoPharm, Neusoft, Baofen Tech, Landersport, Shuanliang Energy, Dongguan Water, Languang BRC.
Fred has a MSc. In Engineering from Renmin University of China and an MBA from Western Sydney University.

Xiang DENG, Venture Partner
We called him Mr. Deng, as it is hard not to highly respect him. Among other achievements, he was the CFO of Haisco when they went IPO and acquired 4 Western Medtech companies.
His name may sound a bit formal and he is the most casual of all of us! Always laughing, he is the only one able to make an M&A or Fund-Raising process fun!
He has taken senior roles in well-known Chinese companies like China Eagle Securities, APP and Guosen Securities.
Mr. Deng holds a BSc. from Sichuan University and another one from from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. He is CPA, ACCA, CIA.
